Art, it’s Emotion, and Elation
A generous proportion of talent, a dash of inspiration, a large chunk of time seasoned with dedication and focus, a garnish of motivation finished with just a little touch of pride, gives us the perfect recipe to create art full of ingenuity inside. Art acts as a vessel, a vessel which can navigate through the vast ocean of emotion. As every vessel is only as good as its maker, only one who understands this ocean, assimilates it and is inspired by it can create such masterpieces of art, worthy enough to sail with mast held high amidst this ocean of emotion.
“Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere.”
Anton Ego phrases this very quote eloquently in the movie Ratatouille. The line may seem very simple but its meaning, not so simple at all.
As all great things originate from humble beginnings, art is no exception. Within all of us there is an artist waiting to be awakened, only those who identify it, work on it and persevere forward, not paying heed to the hurdles along the way, tend to be the ones attaining greatness.
The works of a true artist contain a part of themselves in each and every piece of their art. Their art represents what they stand for. Art being a powerful tool of communication, helps spread the thought and ideas of an artist throughout the world to stand through the test of time and civilization.
Art, being the compass to guide and express emotions, the powerful communication tool, the proof of evolution of human ideas, sentiments and knowledge over the years has always been intertwined into our daily lives, be it the family picture you drew when you were five which is still displayed on the refrigerator wall or the Mona Lisa displayed on the hallowed walls of the Louvre. Art is what you conceive it to be, what meets the pupil changes with the people, but that art which harnesses emotions and tells a story within itself appeals to the eyes of all, one and the same.
